On Tuesday, October 1, 2013 the Oakland County Genealogical Society is pleased to present a “Family History Open House & Help Night.” So, bring your questions, bring your laptops (wi-fi available), and bring your friends as we have our inaugural meeting at our new home. Experienced researchers will be available to answer your questions whether they are about genealogy sources for a specific locality, or one that might help crumble your brick wall.
We meet at the Kilgour Scottish Centre of the St. Andrews Society, 2360 Rochester Court, Troy MI 48083. The Kilgour Centre is located off Rochester Road, near the intersection of Rochester Road and Stephenson Hwy, just south of I-75 exit 67 (Rochester Road). It may be accessed from the first driveway west of the Rochester Road-Stephenson Hwy intersection. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM and the public is invited. There is no charge. There is ample lighted parking and a flat entrance.
