On Tuesday, February 4, 2014 the Oakland County Genealogical Society is pleased to present a program titled “How to Use Timelines to Enhance your Research” by Pam Warren. Ms. Warren, who is the Society’s treasurer and “Around the Internet” columnist for Acorn to Oaks, will show us how to create a timeline using genealogy software, or with a word processor or spreadsheet. Timelines may be used to solve research problems and to look at your data in a different way. Please join us for this interesting and informative presentation.
We meet at the Kilgour Scottish Centre of the St. Andrews Society, 2360 Rochester Court, Troy MI 48083. The Kilgour Centre is located off Rochester Road, near the intersection of Rochester Road and Stephenson Hwy, just south of I-75 exit 67 (Rochester Road). It may be accessed from the first driveway west of the Rochester Road-Stephenson Hwy intersection. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM and the public is invited. There is no charge and memberships, which include 4 issues of Acorns to Oaks, will be available.. There is ample lighted parking and a flat entrance.
